Hello to all
It is Monday eve. We have had a bit of a lazy day today. Had a sleep in and then went for a lovely walk saw some beautiful scenery. Sam needed a hair cut so we did that whilst in town which is only a walk down the road. Had a bit of lunch and then headed off on a cruise of the lake. Wandered home thought we should try and find a laundromat so took a drive up to Windemere about one mile away, unfortnately closed so will go back tomorrow. We wandered into town had dinner, so far we have lovely meals everywhere we have gone, amazing really. Both nights we have had Australian wine. Last night we sat with this couple Alan and Jenny, they were celebrating his 70th birthday, they had only been married 3 years lovely couple he had been a ships engineer and he was telling us when he was young one night he was on this ship and he was summoned to one of the dos and he danced with Sophia Loren he said as you can see I am much shorter than she was so he said he was petrified and his face was at about breast level, Sam said you are the luckiest man I have ever met. They were very funny. We have had a great deal of laughter with all the people we have met. Sam said Sabine I would not meet one single person you make friends with everyone. I am really glad I do this blog I am sure otherwise I would forget so much and that would be such a shame. Hope all is well with everyone and talk soon Love Sam and Sabine.
