Hello to all.
We left Blackrock in Cork this morning. We travelled pretty much all day through beautiful countryside stopping every so often just to drink in the beauty. It is indeed true there are 40 shades of green. We had had a lovely brekky at our B&B so we only stopped for a coffee and piece of carrot cake for me and apple cake for Sam which were both lovely and it was from a tiny little shop/supermarket/deli/coffee shop all combined.
We then travelled on and came to a delightful seaside village called Kinsale there was a market on and it was extremely busy so we headed along the shore and found a carpark, we were just parking and this lady knocked on our window and gave us her parking ticket which had about 2hs on it, we have met really lovely people. We had a look around very picturesque place, back to the carpark and handed over our spot and our ticket to this chap and his wife. We travelled on, one bautiful scene after another. We stopped in Bantry anor beachside place, stood on the beach, seriously you could be in heaven. We then travelled on to our destination with the assistance of Masie. We arrived at our B&B in Dingle after a spectacular drive along the Dingle Peninsular. We managed a park at the door, the lady Marion was delightful, our room lovely, so we settled in and off we went again for a wander thru the town, saw an advert for a Folk Concert at St James Church at 7.30 so we raced into a pub had a quick bite and off to the concert, 4 very talented fellows, two guitarists for a start, then anor chap and then a fellow who played the Irish Pipes WOW how lucky we were to hear such amazing music. One of the guitarists said when I am finished here I play in a little pub called 'O'Sullivan's Courthouse' so we raced back to our B&B which was all of 50metres from the Church dropped our things and headed to the pub, more fabulous music and we stayed there until about 12.00 headed home again 70 metres this time. Lovely day and eve. I am sure no one in Ireland has died of a stress related illness. I must say I will be sorry to leave tomorrow. All the best Sam & Sabine
