Sunday 26th June 2011

Hello to all
It is Sunday eve. We stayed at Churchlodge Farm in Harrington last night, very Midsomer, I was expecting Inspector Barnaby to drive by at any time. We set ourselves up wandered across to the local pub, about 200yards (we are now in UK) had a lovely dinner and a bottle of Crystal Brooke Chardonnay from South Australia I could almost not walk home. This morning we had brekky then went for a little sightseeing tour of the little village, extremely pretty.
We then set off for our destination of Bowness in Windermere, our acommodation is quite lovley. As it is a resort we went to the Welcome to New Guests at 5.15 got all the goss for the week and then set off for a walk around the delightful little town, found a lovely place to eat, anor couple from Gloucester they were Alan and Jenny and he was celebrating his 70th birthday they were very funny and we had a very lovely evening we totally chatted all through dinner.
We have not thought too far past tomorrow but have booked a tour for Thursday that is about it so far. These places are like they have never been touched by time at all.
Sam has done a great job with all the accommodation and driving etc he is to be congratulated really.
Hope all is well with everyone and talk soon Sam and Sabine
